Past Events: Create a Poppy Day: 28th April 2018
On April 28th we will run a workshop with age-appropriate poppy making projects.
There will be;
- cut-out felt poppies for children and parents (from 3-6 years),
- wet felting on the library lawn if weather permits for older children (and adults),
- and knitting and crochet lessons on creating poppies in the library.
You will be expected to donate your poppy to the project; however, the smallest children can make one poppy for the project and also take one poppy home.
You do not have to be a resident of the town to participate.
A small donation to cover the cost of materials is appreciated.
An adult is required for child supervision.
Please bring knitting needles US size 8-10, and or crochet hooks size G and H for the knitting / crochet.
Registration is required.
