Congratulations and thank you for the beautiful poppy project- It was so moving- I went back and read some of the WW1 poetry. What an undertaking! S.
I returned late Tuesday from Maine and Wednesday morning finally saw the amazing installation of poppies to honor Armistice Day. It is truly spectacular, and I know you have been leading this effort for a long time.
Visually it's very moving and reading about the Carlisle veterans who served in WWI was quite interesting. It's good not to forget!
Thanks for making this happen. B.
I wanted to write you a THANK YOU for your incredible efforts in the poppy project in town.
I almost got hit going around the rotary the other day, as I slowed down considerably when I saw the AMAZING robe being worn by lady liberty!!! I have a huge smile whenever I go past the poppies beautifully lining our memorial area and rotary. You have made a sad remembrance something special....positive and breathtaking.
You and the others involved have brought an amazing feeling to our town. You have brought public art to our children's eyes and to our hearts.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! A.
Thank you for helping us remember. D&D
This looks totally amazing!! What a beautiful display. I know it was no small effort. Thank you! M.
I am so happy to have had a small part in such a beautiful memorial. Thank you for helping me appreciate the symbolism of the poppies. A.
I drove by the poppies today. They look fabulous, well done to all involved! K.
I simply adore looking at the beautiful and meaningful Poppy Project as I drive through Carlisle! J.
I wanted to thank you for such a great poppy display. A fellow co-worker and I commute through your town each day on our way to work in Bedford and your display has been such a poignant reminder of what happened 100 years ago. Hopefully people alive today will learn a lesson from that war and work to make sure we do everything in our power prevent future wars. K.
The poppies are a great success. What a nice addition to the holiday. You did a nice thing pulling this all together. S.
